In a social media post, Shafali, Harmanpreet, Pooja and Renuka can be seen making their way towards the temple entrance before stopping for a picture near the gate. Minutes later Deepti was seen moving towards the main temple. She also stopped to chat with some people around her. The cricketers were all dressed in traditional Indian threads. Harmanpreet Kaur, Renuka Singh and Shafali Verma were clothed in Salwar Suits. The cricketers could be seen having a great time as they were all smiles during the spiritual trip.

Coming back to on-field developments, Shafali Verma recently broke the record for the highest opening partnership in women’s Tests. She combined with Smriti Mandhana to surpass the previous record of 241 by scoring 292 runs against South Africa.
