In an increasing trend of social media influencers creating viral content, a new clip has captured attention online on Instagram. The clip shared by the creator with the username Raksha_r_shetty starts with a girl biting a boy’s arm. The boy is seen withering in pain but he doesn’t pull the arm and this leaves a bite mark on his arm. Instead of applying some lotion to the bite mark, the guy lets a tattoo artist draw a tattoo around it.

The artist creates a pen design on the bite marks and then adds creativity to it with a machine. The tattoo creator then applies some cream on the design, wipes it off and the social media users see an artwork around the bite marks. The video’s text overlay reads,” Bite Marks: The Ultimate friendship goal”, and “Tag your boy best friend who would do the same for you!”. Raksha_r_shetty attached the song Dil Tu Jaan Tu by the singer Gurnazar Chattha to the Instagram reel. The video has garnered over 18 million views.

This reel received mixed reactions from social media users with many calling it cringe behaviour. One of the users wrote,” Am I the only one who is feeling cringe?”. Another wrote,” I promise, they will regret this immaturity 5 years later.” One of the users also commented that the tattoo artist is the happiest because he knows that the guy will be back for a coverup tattoo.

A similar clip gained traction online when a content creator named Ana Stanskovsky got her boyfriend’s name Kevin inked on her forehead in bold. Getting something like that done may have felt unique to Ana, but it seems disgusting to most online users. The social media users didn’t fail to raise their concerns in the comment section of her post. One of the users commented, “As a tattoo artist, I’d NEVER do this to another human being.” Another one commented humorously, “He’ll love it! Your next boyfriend will hate it though.”

A section of users were indecisive if the tattoo was real, many termed it to be nothing more than a prank.
