The Center and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee may be headed for a showdown. An FIR has been registered against the Kolkata Police on a complaint by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for allegedly forging documents in the case of Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee. The ED is investigating Abhishek Banerjee, Mamata Banerjee’s nephew, in connection with the coal smuggling case.
