Chelsea striker Sam Kerr was warned after being judged by a pitch invader during a Women’s Champions League match against Juventus in south-west London on Wednesday evening.
The Australian was named by her coach Emma Hayes as the best striker in the world after helping Chelsea seal a home treble with two goals in the FA Cup final against Arsenal at Wembley on Sunday.
Kerr showed more skill in keeping up with the Australian rules code she played in as a child when she ran into a fan running across the Kingsmeadow pitch in Wednesday’s game, leaving her in a pile on the field.

Yellow cards for Kerr and Chelsea contributed to a disappointing night as Juventus held on to a 0–0 draw, requiring the English champions to travel to Wolfsburg the following week to advance to the quarter-finals.
