Former Union minister Ratanjit Pratap Narayan Singh, who quit the Congress and joined the BJP on Tuesday, said his former party is no longer the unit it used to be. After formally taking membership of the BJP at the party headquarters in Delhi, RPN Singh said, “For 32 years, I worked diligently with the Congress. This has changed. It is no longer the party it used to be. “
Meanwhile, several eminent Congress members have left the party in the past.
