A video of him cooking egg dosa for film director Anurag Basu Anupam Kher The site has gone viral. Anupam Kher has uploaded the now viral video on his social media account. Barfi director Anurag Basu can be seen cooking egg dosa for Anupam in the over 4-minute-long clip. Anupam requests everyone to keep quiet in the video. While Basu prepared the food, he explained the technique. People on the sets gathered around the director to watch him cook. Basu deftly spreads the batter on a hot griddle before adding small amounts of butter. He then cracked an egg on the dosa and spread it evenly. Then Basu added salt, green chillies, a little onion and tomato as per taste. He folded the dosa like a pro and cut it into pieces before serving.
When Basu served egg dosa to Anupam, the actor requested thunderous applause for the filmmaker. Anupam mocked Basu by saying, “Put me in every one of your films”, which made him laugh. Anurag said, “In every film you will eat food made by me”, to which Anupam replied, “100%.”

The video was captioned as “Aaj ki taaza khabar (Today’s Breaking News): Anurag Basy has made egg dosa for Anupam Kher on the sets of Anupam Kher. The film also sold the main part. That’s all there is to it. Jai hai, Anurag babu”. Anupam was so kind as to compliment Basu on his cooking abilities. Almost 15,000 people have watched the video up to this point.
