Responding to allegations leveled by Maharashtra minister Nawab Malik over his sister-in-law Harshada Deenanath Redkar’s involvement in the drug trade, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) regional director Sameer Wankhede on Monday said he was not even in service when The case was registered.

Malik had on Monday asked Wankhede to disclose whether his sister-in-law Harshada Redkar was involved in the drug trade.

The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader also shared “evidence”, showing Harshada Deenanath Redkar listed under “Respondent and Advocate” in a case registered under Prevention of Illegal Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act in 2008 Was.

Malik tweeted, “Sameer Dawood Wankhede, is your sister-in-law Harshada Deenanath Redkar involved in drug trade? You must answer as her case is pending in a Pune court.”

Meanwhile, Samir Wankhede’s father Gyandev Wankhede on Sunday filed a defamation suit in the Bombay High Court against Maharashtra minister and NCP leader Nawab Malik, seeking damages of Rs 1.25 crore.

Justice Madhav Jamdar will hear the matter today.

Earlier, Malik had alleged that Wankhede was born a Muslim, but he forged a caste certificate including passing out as a Scheduled Caste (SC) person to get admitted under the quota after clearing the UPSC exam. Create documents.
