according to a source close to Entertainment door Bollywood Hungama, Ayan Mukerji’s association with Yash Raj Films happened when Aditya Chopra set his eyes on Ayan’s magnum opus Brahmastra. The source shared, “The minute Aditya Chopra saw Brahmastra, he knew Ayan had the potential to direct a stylish action film. He made Ayan an offer and the director was more than happy to enter the YRF Spy Universe. Ayaan is really excited to be groomed by the best in the business.”
The source also added, “Ayan is being paid handsomely to direct War 2. He has signed a contract of Rs. 32 crore as directing fee for War 2 and the director will start pre-production this month.” Gearing up to start production.
