NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede’s troubles are not taking the name of ending. Another witness from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Wednesday accused the agency officials of fraudulently getting them to sign on blank papers. The complainant named Shekhar Kamble said that later these papers were used in the panchnama of a case.

This is the second case within three days, when an NCB witness has made such an allegation. Before Kamble, Prabhakar Sail has made the same allegation, which has been made a witness by the NCB in the case of Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan.

Kamble is a witness in the cruise drugs case
According to the Hindustan Times report, Shekhar Kamble, a resident of Navi Mumbai, was shown by the NCB as an independent witness in the Panchnama during a raid in Kharghar on August 26. Kamble says that the agency officials had already got him signed on blank papers without informing him.

In this raid, NCB arrested a Nigerian national Kingsley Ukwueja. The agency showed 55 grams of mephodrone and a little ganja recovered from him.

Signed on 10 blank papers
Kamble says that I was present on the spot along with NCB officers during the raid. One Nigerian was caught, while one escaped. I don’t know whether they (NCB officers) recovered drugs from the caught Nigerian or not.

According to Kamble, three days later, an NCB officer, Anil Mane, called me and called to his office in South Mumbai. In the office, I was made to sign at least 10 blank papers, which were later used for Panchnama.

On getting information about the letter written to the CM, it came to the fore
Kamble said, I was horrified when I got information about sending letters to Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and NCP leader Nawab Malik, referring to the Kharghar case from some unknown person. She said that on Tuesday night, Anil Mane called me and threatened me to keep my mouth shut. NCB officer Ashish Ranjan is investigating this matter. According to Kamble, after receiving Mane’s call, I reached Kopar Khairna police station in Navi Mumbai and pleaded for security.

Wankhede said – I will answer Kamble’s claim in court
When NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede was questioned about Kamble’s claim, he denied the allegations. Wankhede said, I completely deny this allegation and I will answer it in court.

On the other hand, the NCB’s Vigilance team, which reached Mumbai from Delhi to investigate the allegations of Prabhakar Cell, has also not reacted to Kamble’s allegation. DDG Dnyaneshwar Singh, who is leading the Vigilance team, said, the target of our team is to investigate the fair. That is why we are investigating the matter by staying at CRPG Mess in Bandra West instead of NCB’s Mumbai office.
