Volkswagen has updated the variant line-up of Taigun and Virtus for the Indian market. The company has launched Volkswagen Virtus GT with 6-speed manual gearbox at a price of Rs 16.89 lakh. Also, the brand has started accepting bookings for the marquee GT Edge Limited Collection through the Volkswagen India website. The GT Edge carline will be manufactured based on customer bookings (via the Volkswagen India website) and deliveries will begin from July 2023. In addition, the brand introduced two new variants – GT DSG and GT Plus manual transmission – on the Taigun at a starting price of Rs 16.79 lakh and Rs 17.79 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively.
With this introduction, Volkswagen India ensures that there is a Taigun that meets the requirements of every customer and offers 9 variants to choose from across the Dynamic (1.0L TSI) and Performance Line (1.5L TSI EVO engine) holds the capacity.

New shades of limitless performance, the GT Edge Limited Collection includes the Virtus GT Plus DSG and GT Plus Manual in Deep Black Pearl exterior body colour. Tigun GT Plus DSG and GT Plus manual in Deep Black Pearl and Carbon Steel Gray exterior matte finish body colour.
