Vistara Airline Achieves Milestone Of Flying 50 Million Customers In 8 Years Of Operations

Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, achieved the milestone of flying 50 million customers in just eight years of operations. To celebrate this milestone, Vistara upgraded the 50 millionth passenger on Delhi-Bengaluru flight UK819 from economy to business class. The passenger’s name is Sanjana Singhal and she also got a special ride to the airport. In addition, the passenger also received Club Vistara Gold membership and a reserved seat on the flight.

Vistara operates more than 280 flights daily with a fleet of 61 aircraft, connecting 32 airports across India and 15 international destinations. Full-service provider Vistara is often lauded for offering a host of industry-first amenities on its planes, including Wi-Fi, among many other services. As part of the integration, the airline will be merged with Air India under its parent brand Tata Group and will become the second largest airline after the merger is complete.
