Virat Kohli cannot wait to celebrate Team India’s T20 World Cup win with his wife Anushka Sharma and their two kids, Vamika and Akaay, as the cricketer was papped leaving for London soon after participating in the victory parade in Mumbai along with the Men in Blue.

Virat headed to London, where Anushka is currently staying with their kids. On Thursday night, a video of Virat arriving at the Mumbai airport surfaced on social media. As per paps, the cricketer was jetting off to the British capital. He looked dapper in an olive green jacket which he wore over a plain white-coloured tee and matching pants.

Earlier in the morning, Virat Kohli’s family reached Delhi’s ITC Maurya hotel to welcome the cricketer back home from Barbados. Kohli, along with the rest of Team India, had been stuck in the Caribbean island after winning the T20 World Cup due to Hurricane Beryl. Anushka was not present in Barbados for the nail-biting World Cup final where India beat South Africa to clinch the trophy.

Virat’s elder sister, Bhawna Kohli Dhingra, shared a series of photographs on Instagram that showed the cricketer pose with his family, including his nephews and nieces. “Celebrating the win. Superproud,” she captioned the pics. Anushka was quick to drop a heart emoji in the comments section of the post.

Soon after Team India’s victory, Anushka Sharma had penned a moving tribute to the Men in Blue as well as for her cricketer-husband. She revealed that her daughter Vamika was concerned for Virat, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya and other members of the Indian squad who cried after winning the T20 World Cup.

Anushka took to Instagram and revealed that the couple’s daughter wondered if the Men in Blue had someone to hug while they broke down. Sharing pictures from the emotional celebration, Anushka said, “Our daughter’s biggest concern was if all the players had someone to hug them after she saw them cry on tv….. Yes, My darling, they were hugged by 1.5 billion people ❤️ What a phenomenal victory and what a legendary achievement!! CHAMPIONS – CONGRATULATIONS!!” she wrote.
