Just 7 days after the violence in Kanpur on June 3, there was a ruckus in 8 districts of UP. After Friday prayers, the crowd took to the road. Namazi was angry with BJP leader Nupur Sharma’s remarks on Prophet Mohammad. In Prayagraj, Moradabad, Saharanpur, Firozabad, Ambedkar Nagar, Hathras, Aligarh, Jalaun, the worshipers came out on the road. The police-administration was alert for two days, but at the last moment the preparations for all the security arrangements failed.
Most of the ruckus happened in Prayagraj. Some in the paramilitary forces have also been injured. Similarly, slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar were raised in Deoband. However, everything remained under control due to heavy police force being deployed in Kanpur. There were 45 arrests in Saharanpur, 37 in Prayagraj, 20 in Hathras, 7 in Moradabad, 4 in Firozabad, 23 in Ambedkar Nagar. So far, 136 have been caught by the police.

1. Prayagraj: After Friday prayers, a crowd of thousands started pelting stones at the police
Thousands of mobs started pelting stones at the police after Friday prayers in a Muslim-dominated area. When the police lathi-charged, the mob reached the streets and terraces and started pelting stones at the police. The force of the entire district has been called along with RAF. The incident happened after namaz around 2 am.
Stone pelting was started on the police from near Majidiya Islamia College Gate in Atala. When the police and RAF chased away, the crowd entered the streets. When the force went to the street, women and children also started pelting stones from the roofs. One RAF jawan was injured in this. The miscreants also set fire to many places including Noorullah Road, Atala.
In Prayagraj, rioters set a PAC van on fire along with stone pelting near Mustafa Complex. The fire brigade soon brought it under control.
2. Saharanpur: Stone pelting after the slogan of Allah-hu-Akbar
The worshipers who came out after the prayers at Jama Masjid in Saharanpur suddenly started shouting slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar. From the mosque, Namazi reached the clock tower with the crowd. Commissioner and DIG Dr Preetinder Singh were present there. The Namazis immediately started pelting stones. In response, the police also had to lathi-charge. Police have detained 20 people from Saharanpur and 16 from Deoband.
When the worshipers started shouting slogans as soon as they came out of the mosque in Saharanpur, the shutters of nearby shops started falling. After this, there was a lot of stone pelting here too.
3. Moradabad: Nupur’s beheading posters waved
In Moradabad, on Friday afternoon, after the Friday afternoon prayers, the crowd came out on the streets. At the Jama Masjid crossroads, a furious mob raised slogans of hanging Nupur Sharma. During this, posters of Nupur Sharma beheading were also seen in the hands of some youths. Nupur was compared to a terrorist in these posters. The mob also raised religious slogans in a fierce protest here. An FIR has been registered against 80 other unidentified persons while naming 10 people at the Mughalpura police station. The police have arrested 7 of these people in the night.
After the ruckus in Moradabad, the police had to lathi-charge. It can be clearly seen in the pictures that minor children are running from there while falling.
4. Ambedkar Nagar: People were protesting by taking to the streets
Muslims demonstrated after Friday prayers at Tanda in Ambedkarnagar. The police tried to convince the people, but the sloganeering continued. It is being told that after about 40 minutes of Friday prayers, hundreds of people from the Muslim community came out on the road and started raising slogans.

5. Hathras: The crowd started getting furious while raising slogans
Thousands of Muslims gathered in Hathras to spoil the atmosphere after Juma’s Nawaz. Slogans of Allah-Hu-Akbar were raised fiercely in Purdil Nagar. The police team that reached the spot took the lead. The police lashed out at the youths who were making a ruckus. Heavy police force along with DM and SP reached the spot. The police have also taken several people into custody. Section 144 was imposed.

6. Jalaun: Slogans were raised to arrest Nupur Sharma
There was a ruckus in Jalaun over the arrest and prosecution of Nupur Sharma. After the prayer, the Namazi started shouting loudly. Then they started going out on the road together. Seeing the demonstration, ADG Kanpur Zone reached the spot along with DM, SP. He calmed them down.

7. Firozabad : Attempts to take out procession after Friday prayers
After the Friday prayers in Firozabad, the Muslim community tried to take out a procession. On seeing this, the police force stationed there got alert. Officers from all over the district reached the spot. The police stopped the procession. The Friday prayers were offered at 2:30 in Nalband. An hour later, an attempt was made to take out a procession. People also waved flags during the procession.

8. Aligarh :Minors raised slogans after Namaz in a village of Akarabad
Slogans were raised after prayers in Akrabad, a village about 30 km from the district headquarters in Aligarh. After the namaz, youths and minor children came out with poster banners in their hands and demanded the arrest of Nupur Sharma. They came out on the road shouting slogans of Allah-hu-Akbar. During this, the police was also fully prepared and immediately removed the crowd from there. The police tried to convince the youths shouting slogans, when they did not agree, the police chased everyone away using mild force.
