Vikrant Rona Producer Jack Manju Teams Up With Nagashekar For Pan-India Film Padaraya

Popular filmmaker Jack Manjunath, better known as Jack Manju, is one of the most prominent figures in the Kannada film industry. The producer rose to fame after helming the Kichha Sudeep-starrer Vikrant Rona, which turned out to be a blockbuster at the box office. After enjoying the success of the action-adventure film, Jack Manju has now announced his upcoming project. The producer joined hands with Kannada actor-director Nagasekhar for a pan-India venture titled Padarai.

Padarai starring Nagasekhar is helmed by Bigg Boss Kannada fame Chakravarthy Chandrachu, who has also written the film’s script. and musician B. Ajneesh Loknath has been roped in to compose its music. Padarai will release in five languages, including Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam.

According to Chakravarthy Chandrachu, Padarai is inspired by true events, which happened in 2013 and 2014 in Anjanadri, Karnataka. Speaking about the film, the director revealed, “It is a film based on real events. Padarai means Anjaneya. There is no politics in this film. Chakraborty also confirmed that he would soon begin filming Padraya. He further added that the search for the female lead for the film is still on. “There are many surprises in our film. All of them will be revealed in the coming days,” concluded the director.
