Vikram Box Office: Kamal Haasan’s film continues its impact, set to become second highest grossing Tamil film

Vikram Box Office Collection Day 9: Kamal Haasan starrer action film has been entertaining the audience a lot since its release. It not only got an amazing response from the critics but is also doing exceptionally well at the box office. This is also evident from the data collected so far. The film co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil crossed the Rs 100 crore collection in just one week. In addition, it has become the highest Tamil grosser of 2022 and the sixth highest grossing film in the regional film industry. If reports are to be believed, Vikram is all set to become the second highest grossing Tamil film worldwide. Talking about the collections of the 9th day, it is being said that the film had earned 18-20 crores worldwide.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the action thriller released on June 3 and garnered the collections of Akshay KumarEmperor of Prithviraj and Major of Tribal Shesha. Sharing the collection, trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “$2.425M in #VikramUSA.”

Earlier, he shared, “At the end of the first week, #VikramTN has joined the ₹100 crore gross club.. a remarkable achievement.. Congratulations #Ulaganayagan.”

The information about the top 3 grossers in Tamil Nadu was shared by Ramesh Bala. He wrote, “TN 2022 Top 3 grossers so far.. 1. #Valimai 2. #KGFChapter2 3. #Vikram.”

The success of the film was celebrated by Chiranjeevi Konidela at his home, which was also attended by Kamal Haasan and the Bollywood superstar. Salman Khan, Sharing pictures from the same, he wrote, “Absolute happiness, celebration and respect to my dearest old friend @ikamalhaasan along with my dearest sallu bhai @BeingSalmanKhan @Dir_Lokesh and team for the stupendous success of #Vikram at my home last night. Vikram was released on 3 June and is the ‘spiritual successor’ of the 1986 film of the same name. Kamal Haasan is seen playing the role of a retired cop in the film.
