New Delhi: It’s raining new shows on television. Several major GECs are set to launch daily soaps and reality shows next year to promote their programming. Earlier in the day, we informed you that popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh has joined hands with producer Rajan Shahi for a fiction show, which will air on Star Bharat.
guess what? Another TV heartthrob will soon entertain the audience with a new romantic drama. We are talking about Vijayendra Kumeria. The ‘Naagin 4’ actor will be collaborating with Shashi and Sumeet Mittal for their upcoming show.
According to a report in Times of India, in the soon-to-be-launched show, Vijayendra will be seen romancing his Udaan-Sapno Ki co-star Vidhi Pandya, who will have a different story.
Interestingly, the pairing of Vijayendra and Vidhi was not with each other in ‘Udaan’, which aired on Colors channel. While Kumeria romanced Meera Deosthale, Pandya was seen opposite Paras Arora. Both became household names after working in the hit social drama.
The makers are currently busy finalizing the rest of the actors for their show. The Times of India report states that he is expected to start shooting in the first week of January 2022.
On the professional front, Vijayendra was last seen in ‘Aapki Nazarne Ne Samjhauta’. The show co-starred Richa Rathore in the Hindi remake of the Bengali drama ‘Saanjher Baati’. Despite the promising storyline, it went off air in October 2021.
Talking about Vidhi Pandya, the actress was last seen as a contestant in Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 15’. She could not stay in the game for long and got out of the show along with Donal Bisht. Double mid-week eviction moved many tongues as fans believed that Donal and Vidhi had the potential to take it to the next level in ‘Bigg Boss 15’.
While gossip mills suggested that Method would return as a wildcard contestant, he never entered the ‘BB15’ house.
