Boxing legend Mike Tyson is celebrating his 56th birthday today. will be seen in boxer ananya pandey and Vijay Deverakonda starrer much awaited film Liger. To mark the special day, the Arjun Reddy star penned a lovely note from the film’s team with special birthday wishes.
Vijay posted an adorable video on Instagram titled ‘Happy Birthday Mike Tyson’. In this, Karan Johar, Vijay Deverakonda, Ananya Pandey, Charmi Kaur, Puri Jagannath and Wish are sending best wishes to the boxing champion.
The clip also showed a glimpse of Mike on the sets, in which he is seen sharing light-hearted moments with the film’s team and Vijay. Interestingly, the birthday greetings by Vijay and Ananya were shot on the sets while shooting for a dance number on a specially designed set. Considering that none of Vijay’s previous films had such a dance number, fans are excited.
As Vijay shared the exciting video, he also penned a super sweet note along with the clip. He wrote, ‘Happy birthday @miketyson. I never even dreamed of meeting you, forget all that I got from you. You are a memory for a lifetime ️.”

Talking about the film, Liger stars Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles. Vijay is making his own with the film Bollywood First entry. Ligar will also be the first Indian film to feature boxing legend Mike Tyson in a cameo. Deverakonda will play the role of a boxer in the film. The film is being jointly produced by the leading Bollywood production house Dharma Productions in association with Puri Connects. Puri Jagannadh, Charmme Kaur, Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta are jointly controlling the film in a big way. Ligar will hit the theaters on August 25 this year in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
Apart from Liger, Devarakonda also has Kushi in the pipeline alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Currently the shooting of the film is going on. It will release on 23 December. Apart from this, Vijay will be seen in ace director Puri Jagannadh’s upcoming film ‘JGM’ opposite Pooja Hegde. It will release in theaters on August 3 next year in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.
