Vijay Deverakonda became a household name after the success of his film Arjun Reddy.
Vijay Deverakonda is currently filming for his upcoming project Kushi helmed by Shiva Nirvana.
After the massive success of Arjun Reddy, Vijay Deverakonda will reportedly collaborate with Sandeep Reddy Vanga for another project. Sandeep is currently busy shooting for Ranbir Kapoor starrer film Animal.
According to siasat.com, Sandeep has already informed Vijay about the script, and the actor has given the “green signal” to the project. However, if you are wondering whether Arjun Reddy sequel is in the works, the answer is no. As per the reports, this film will not be the second installment of Arjun Reddy. Instead, the director is working on a completely new story that promises to enthrall the audience. The production of the film will not begin until Sandeep Vanga and Allu Arjun complete their work on AA-23.
Vijay is currently filming for his upcoming project Kushi helmed by Shiva Nirvana. The team recently welcomed actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu on the sets with a cake. The Kushi director shared glimpses on Twitter and described Samantha as a “fighter” upon returning to the sets. She said that she was back on the sets. “Fighter Samantha Prabhu Kushi is back on the sets. Everything is going to be beautiful. In the pictures, Samantha looks stunning in a pink suit. In one of the pictures, she can be seen standing with Vijay and the team, welcoming her with a cake and cutting it.
The film, Kushie, will mark the second collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Samantha, after starring in Mahanati. The title and poster of the film were unveiled in May. Samantha said in an Instagram post that it will be a great family event. After finishing the first schedule in Kashmir, Samantha revealed that she had myositis, a rare auto-immune condition, and production on the film was halted. The film is a romantic comedy-drama about a love story between an army officer and a regular Kashmiri girl in the mountains of Jammu and Kashmir.
Meanwhile, apart from Kushi, Vijay Deverakonda will be seen in Puri Jagannadh’s action-drama film JGM (Census). Pooja Hegde is also in the film Jhanvi Kapoor in important roles. The project is currently in its post-production phase and is expected to release on August 3, 2023. Next, the actor will also star in VD 12, directed by Gowtham Tinnanuri. Box Office.
On the other hand, Sandeep Reddy Vanga will don the directorial cap for the upcoming film Animal, which stars Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Anil Kapoor.
