Vidyut Jammwal says he is proud that he has shot for his first production in Jammu and Kashmir.
Vidyut Jamwal, who was in Jammu and Kashmir to shoot for his next film, was given a royal welcome on his return to his hometown.
Vidyut Jammwal returned to his home state of Jammu and Kashmir to shoot for IB 71, produced under his banner Action Hero Films. During the month-long event in J&K, the son of the soil captured the beauty of the valley and is posting on social media for his followers. The royal welcome of Vidyut was accorded with much fanfare by the local people of Kot Bhalwal in Jammu. He was chased from the airport to his hometown and back by the Jamwalis and showered flowers on him.
A Panchayat style press meet was held where they were welcomed with drums played by the local people. The temple of his Kuldevi was decorated with flowers. Thousands of fans from Jammu and many other parts of the country like Haryana, Jaipur and Jaisalmer reached the venue of the press meet. His ghar wapsi celebration was such that the Khuda Hafiz actor was overwhelmed with emotions.
He even entertained his fans by singing a song in Dogri. From taking an adventurous cold dip to taking a gondola ride, Jamwal not only inspired the locals there but also inspired his followers on social media. He encouraged all those who participated in the festival to fulfill their dreams with enthusiasm and work hard for them.
An overwhelmed Vidyut said, “I have received help from many people in the film industry and that is how I will definitely support and empower the talent. It is all about hard work. I was offered to shoot the film in Switzerland. But I insisted that we shoot in our home state. I am proud that I have shot in J&K for my first production and I have tried my best to capture the beauty of it. I am proud of my work. I get so much love on social media and I am happy to love people back. I return with the best of memories.”
Vidyut will soon be seen in Khuda Hafiz Chapter II Agni Pariksha apart from IB 71.
