Speculated to be at a family wedding, the four are seen busting moves to the chartbuster “Jumma Chumma De De.” The video, going viral on Reddit, starts with Vidya and her producer husband Siddharth dancing to the line, “Arey tu boli thi, pichle jumme ko.” Aditya then jumps in, matching their playful energy as the song continues. Just before the famous hook line drops, Aditya pulls his elder brother, Kunaal, onto the dance floor. The three brothers and Vidya Balan then nail the iconic Amitabh Bachchan hook step from the song.
Vidya Balan met Siddharth Roy Kapur at a party at Karan Johar’s house back in 2010. In her words, the filmmaker played Cupid as he intentionally invited the two of them as he wanted them to end up together. After dating for a bit, the lovebirds tied the knot in December 2012 in a private ceremony and nearly 12 years later, they’re still going strong. In an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha, Vidya said she considers herself fortunate to have found her soulmate without having ‘to go through the grind of swiping right and left’.
She tells us, “A lot of people even from our generation swipe right and left. But I just got lucky that I found a partner before Tinder and Bumble boomed and I’m very happy about that. Love will always remain love even. It’s what makes the world go round and round. It’s just that people have gotten so spoilt for choice in every area of their lives that they’re wanting to keep their options open even in terms of relationships.”
She added that what makes her even luckier is the fact that her husband belongs to the same line of work as her. “The positive side is that he understands what it takes to do what I do. So, he’s very supportive and accepting. And that’s also the flip side because I can’t lie to him about being exhausted due to work,” says the Bhool Bhulaiyaa actor.
