Anupam Kher was seen addressing the allegations of foul play in Satish Kaushik’s death at a prayer meeting, which was attended by other prominent members of the film fraternity.
When Satish Kaushik breathed his last on March 8, Anupam Kher lost one of his closest friends and the film industry lost one of its most beloved actors. On Monday, a prayer meet was held in Mumbai in the memory of the actor-director, which was attended by actors like Vidya Balan, Vivek Agnihotri, David Dhawan, Javed Akhtar, Boney Kapoor, among others. Several other members of the film fraternity also attended. Spotted at Kaushik’s residence where the prayer meeting was held.
Kaushik’s family organized a prayer meeting and a turban ceremony for the late actor-director in Mumbai today. His friends and well wishers from the industry registered their presence in this work.
Anupam Kher spoke to the media outside the venue of the prayer meeting and said that he could not find a single picture of his friends in which he was not smiling. “For the past few days I have been trying to find a picture of Satish in which he is not smiling. I didn’t find any, if you media persons can find any, please send it to me,” Kher said.
He was also seen addressing the allegations of foul play in Kaushik’s death and the ongoing investigation by the police. The Delhi Police launched an investigation into Satish Kaushik’s death after a woman claiming to be the wife of a Delhi-based businessman claimed that her husband had allegedly killed Kaushik.
Kher said at the prayer meeting, “I think we should give a dignified exit to that man, and not make such speculations, because, he led an honorable life, and all these rumors should end with this puja today.” Must go.”
Satish Kaushik passed away at the age of 66. The news of his death came to light on the morning of Thursday, March 9, when his best friend, actor Anupam Kher penned a heartbreaking note in his memory.
