The filming of Jalsa, directed by the highly acclaimed Suresh Triveni, began today in Mumbai. Jalsa reunites Suresh with powerhouse actor Vidya Balan and brought in yet another outstanding actress Shefali Shah in the lead role. Fully backed by the main cast, Rohini Hattangadi, Iqbal Khan, Vidhatri Bandi, Gurpal Singh and Surya Kasibhatla (making his debut) form a powerful ensemble with Manav Kaul in a special appearance.
