In view of the critical condition, the lawyer was referred to Jaipur. His younger brother Lakshman Ram told that during treatment he died in SMS Hospital. The case is of Khandela of Sikar. A letter has been found in the lawyer’s bag, accusing SDM Rakesh Kumar of demanding money for every case.
Advocate Hansraj Mavaliya (40), a resident of Nangal Abhayapura of Ranauli police station area, was practicing law for the last 10 years. SDM Rakesh Kumar was sitting in the chamber inside his office at around 2.30 pm on Thursday. Meanwhile, Hansraj set himself on fire outside and came inside. He had already closed the office door.
SDM Rakesh stood as soon as he saw him coming inside. Hansraj tried to catch them. Pushed him back. His hand also got burnt. The lawyer, who was seriously injured, was immediately taken to the hospital in Khandela. From there it was referred to Jaipur. SDM Rakesh Kumar is being treated at Khandela Hospital.

SDM Rakesh Kumar told- There was a public hearing in the Panchayat Samiti on Thursday. I had gone to the public hearing. After coming to the court after completing the public hearing, Hansraj had taken the next date to argue in some case. After some time he sprinkled petrol and set it on fire. Closing all the doors of the court, the SDM entered the court. At that time, another lawyer in the SDM court was also representing in some case.

Seeing the lawyer surrounded by fire, there was chaos in the court. People tried to stop the lawyer, but Hansraj reached the SDM. The fire was so fierce that there was smoke everywhere in the court. Another lawyer present in the court suffocated when he tried to leave. On receiving the information, the fire brigade and medical team reached the spot. The fire was brought under control and the injured were taken to Khandela Hospital.

The police is investigating the matter On the spot, a bottle of petrol and insecticide medicine in polythene was recovered from Mavaliya’s bag. A letter has also been found, in which serious allegations have been made against the SDM. The lawyer has written that SDM Rakesh Kumar used to demand bribe for every case. Sikar SP Kunwar Rashtradweep and DSP Girdhari Lal Sharma also reached the spot. He took necessary information from the officials there.
