Actress Sambhavna Seth and her husband Avinash Dwivedi faced heat from netizens after their video went viral. The tribal community was angered by both for the use of certain words. The video was uploaded on June 16. After being criticized by netizens, Sambhavna and Avinash took to Instagram to share another video apologizing for hurting the sentiments of a certain community. The duo also pulled down the controversial video.

In the video, the duo said, “We made a video on June 16 and now we have come to know that the language used in that video was from the tribal community of Jharkhand. The community comprises of more than 1 lakh people and their many sentiments. Are hurt. Our intention was just to make people laugh through our humorous videos. It was not our intention to humiliate anyone or any community. We don’t have any script, so, in flux, we speak inappropriate words And let’s go wrong. We would like to apologize to all our customers, tribal and non-tribal community as we were also hurt by reading the comments of the viewers.”

Sharing the video, Sambhavna wrote, ‘Apologizing to the entire tribal community along with @imavinashdwivedi.. We are also hurt because you are hurt.’

Along with her apology, Sambhavna said, “We didn’t know we made a mistake until people commented on Instagram and tagged us. We’ve removed that video out of your respect as we’ve ever been Don’t want to hurt any community. Our sole intention is to spread love. We assure you that we will not hurt any community here or anywhere in the world. With folded hands, we apologize to all. If then Of course, we make mistakes, so please let us know because it’s important to know our mistakes.”

Lately, several TV stars have come under scrutiny for misuse of certain words that have offended a certain community. A case has been registered against Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Munmun Dutta in Haryana’s Hansi city on the complaint of Rajat Kalsan, convener of National Alliance for Dalit Human Rights. Hansi police have registered an FIR against Dutta under various provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The complainant has alleged that Dutta had made derogatory remarks against Scheduled Caste people.

Yuvika Choudhary, on the other hand, also got herself in trouble for referencing a certain community and said that she doesn’t want to ‘look like them’. She was mercilessly trolled by netizens who also made the hashtag ‘arrest Yuvika Choudhary’ one of the top trends on Twitter. Soon, Yuvika released a clarification which read, “Hi guys, I didn’t understand the meaning of the word which I used in my previous vlog, I didn’t mean to hurt anybody and I will never hurt anyone. I can not do this to hurt. n everyone I hope you understand the love of all of you.”
