Fishermen in Karnataka caught a critically endangered sawfish, also known as the carpenter shark.

Fishermen caught a rare sawfish in Malpe, Karnataka on Thursday. A sawfish or carpenter shark is a critically endangered species, protected under Schedule 1 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act 1972.
