In Himachal Pradesh’s Kinnaur district, the rocks fell so fast that the bridge of the Baspa river collapsed after a landslide. 9 tourists have died in this accident, while 3 people have been seriously injured. Among those who died, 4 were from Rajasthan, 2 from Chhattisgarh and one each from Maharashtra and West Delhi. The state or city of one of the deceased could not be ascertained.

The tourists were going from Chitkul to Sangla in traveler train HR 55 AG 9003. Then the bridge collapsed due to the rocks falling on the bridge near Gunsa of Batseri and the tourist car fell into the Baspa river. After hearing the screams and screams after the accident, the people of Batseri village reached the spot and started the rescue work. The villagers had informed the police and administration about the accident. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced Rs 2 lakh to the families of those who lost their lives in the accident and Rs 50,000 to the injured from the PM Care Fund.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the accident. He has announced Rs 2 lakh each to the next of kin of those killed in the accident and Rs 50,000 each to the injured from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.

The process of falling stones in Himachal’s Kinnaur is continuing since Saturday. A rock fell on a vehicle near Gunsa in Batseri on the Sangla-Chitkul link road on Saturday afternoon, due to which the movement was stopped for a long time. It is a matter of relief that no one died in this accident.
