Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk have dropped new posters of Bad Newz and revealed the trailer release date.
Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk are set to star in the upcoming romantic comedy-drama Bad Newz. The film was announced in March, and on Monday, Vicky Kaushal posted a video revealing that the trailer will be unveiled soon. On his Instagram, Vicky Kaushal posted a video where he is seen playfully falling onto a sofa.
And now, the lead cast has dropped new posters and revealed the trailer release date. And the trailer will be out this Friday. On Tuesday, Karan Johar took to Instagram and unveiled three posters of the lead actors and wrote, “Meet the trio-uble makers bringing the #BadNewz this season!” Describing the characters, he added that Vicky Kaushal plays, “Akhil Chadha…sab toh vadda!” This is followed by Triptii, who essays the role of “Saloni, who is ready to take the test!?” and Ammy plays, “Gurbir paaji – rola pai gaya ji!”
Last year, several photos of Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri went viral when they were shooting in Croatia. In the pictures, Vicky Kaushal was seen holding Triptii close as they shot for the song. In one of the photos, the actor was also seen lifting the Animal star in his arms. The upcoming entertainer is being helmed by Anand Tiwari, known for his work on Bandish Bandits. It is scheduled to release in theaters on July 19.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Triptii Dimri is currently enjoying the success of Animal. Released in December 2023, the film also starred Ranbir Kapoor in the lead. Triptii’s chemistry with Ranbir in the movie was widely loved by all. Apart from Bad Newz, she will also be seen in Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Vicky Kaushal on the other hand, was last seen in Sam Bahadur. Apart from Bad Newz, he will also be seen in Chhava. The film is reported to be a period drama, where Kaushal will share the screen with Rashmika Mandanna.
