Vicky Kaushal will be seen in Chhaava, which is a historical drama that revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Vicky Kaushal is gearing up for his next release Chhaava. The makers have shared the teaser recently and it has been receiving a positive response. Fans are in love with Vicky’s avatar. Today, the actor was spotted in the city and was looking handsome in all black casual wear.

In the video, shared by Snehzala, we can see Vicky Kaushal wearing black pants and a tee. He is walking when a fan approached for a selfie and he obliged him. He keeps his hand on his shoulder and clicks a selfie. He also poses for the paps.  Rajkummar Rao also took to his social handle and heaped praise on him. He wished him good luck with the film. Taking to his Instagram stories, Rajkummar Rao dropped the trailer and wrote, “This is going to be huge. Awesome work bhai @vickykaushal09 @maddockfilms.”

The teaser opens with the introduction of Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. He is seen fighting like a brave soldier. The actor has left everyone impressed with his look and action in the small clip. Ahead of the teaser release, Vicky took to social media to share the first poster of the film. The poster looks intense as he is seen fighting with hundreds of soldiers. It will be released on December 6.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, known for his work in films like Mimi (2021) and Luka Chuppi (2019), Chhaava marks another collaboration between Utekar and Vicky Kaushal following their recent comedy-romance hit Zara Hatke Zara Bachke (2023).

Chhaava is a historical drama that revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In the film, Vicky Kaushal is set to portray the character of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the Maratha empire’s founder. On the other hand, Rashmika Mandanna takes on the role of Yesubai Bhonsale in the film. The film also stars Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta in key roles. According to a report by Pinkvilla, actor Neil Bhoopalam has also been roped in to portray the character of a Mughal prince in the film.
