VHP opposes construction of Haj House in Dwarka

New Delhi: Opposing the construction of Haj House in Delhi’s Dwarka area, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) joint general secretary Surendra Jain on Wednesday asked the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government led by Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to review the decision. .

Jain said that despite the objection of the local people, there is a plan to build Haj House in a very sensitive area in Dwarka area.

The VHP leader said that the Kejriwal government did not soften despite the protests and did not even respond to the protest.

“The Vishwa Hindu Parishad declares that under no circumstances will the Haj House be allowed to be built there, people will take out every brick,” he said.

The VHP leader later said in a statement, “The Delhi government should drop the idea of Haj House, stop serving infiltrators and jihadis and also take care of Hindu society.”

Otherwise, the society of the national capital will be forced to come on the streets, he said.

The Delhi Police had last week registered an FIR against several people who were protesting the construction of Haj House in Dwarka for violating the guidelines of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA).

The protest took place after All Dwarka Residents Federation wrote to Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal urging him to cancel the land allotted for the construction of Haj House.
