Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and Gopal Krishna, popularly known as the Paruchuri Brothers, are known for revolutionizing Telugu cinema with their writings in the 1980s. He has written stories and dialogues for more than 300 films. Recently, the fans of both the brothers were in shock after seeing a recent photo of Venkateswara Rao. The veteran writer looks very old and weak in the photo. Many people were very concerned about his health.
His brother Gopal Krishna has now put an end to all speculations about Venkateswara Rao’s health in a video message. Gopal Krishna said that after he moved to Australia in 2017, Venkateswara Rao underwent some tests and the tests were done due to minor changes in his health condition.
Gopal Krishna said Venkateswara Rao has lost weight in recent months due to the change in diet prescribed by doctors. Gopal Krishna revealed that director J Jayanti had clicked a picture of his brother during treatment and shared it on social media.
Gopal Krishna also felt sad to make many comments on his brother’s looks. The author of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy said that any man who was 80 years old would have looked the same. Gopal Krishna said that the physical characteristics of a person change with time. The veteran author thanked everyone for expressing concern for his brother.
Apart from his brother’s health, Gopal Krishna also spoke about Bhimla Nayak’s pre-release event and paid tributes to renowned Bollywood singer Lata Mangeshkar and composer Bappi Lahiri, who passed away recently.
Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao and Gopal Krishna have written stories and dialogues for films such as Sita, Ayushman Bhava, Rangu, Jayadeva and others. He has also directed a total of 9 movies like Maa Telugu Talli, Repati Swarajyam, Bhale Tamudu, Srikrishnalilalu and Praja Swamim. He has also directed Maro Quit India, Sarpayagam and Singanna. Both the brothers have also been awarded the Special Jury Award in 2016.
