new Delhi: Yami Gautam, Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur starrer ‘Dasvi’ released on 7 April. As for reviews about the film from critics and fans, Yami Gautam reacted strongly to one review, calling it “extremely insulting”.
yami gautam took her Twitter Account for requesting not to review the publication again. He also said that it took years for a self-made actor like him to reach where he is. In such a situation, when something like this happens, it becomes heart-wrenching.
“Before I say anything else, I want to say that I usually take constructive criticism in my stride. But when a certain platform tries to drag you down constantly, I found it necessary to speak up about it. Recent films and performances include Ae Thursday, Bala, Uri etc. And yet this qualifies as a ‘review’ of my work! It’s so outrageous!” Read his post.
In ‘Dasvi’, the 33-year-old actress plays Jyoti Deswal, a strict and law-abiding cop who motivates Abhishek Bachchan (who plays a politician) to clear his Class 10 exams. Is. ‘Airlift’ actress Nimrat Kaur is also a part of the film where she plays an accidental chief minister after her husband (Abhishek) is imprisoned.
