Former India opener Aakash Chopra also mentioned this incident in his show Akash Vani. “Chahar’s story is very exciting. When he was young, he practiced at Hanumangarh in Rajasthan, he met Greg Chappell, the director of the Rajasthan Cricket Academy at the time, who asked him to quit cricket. Chappell told him to quit cricket, not because he would not be selected in the academy, but because he told him that he himself would never become a cricketer.
