Ved Box Office Collection Day 14: With his debut Marathi film as a director, Riteish Deshmukh has once again proved his mettle. The actor has carved a niche for himself in comedy and now, he is on a journey to establish himself as a director. Vedas are definitely helping them on this path. In the first week after its release on 30 December, Ved garnered a lot of praise and attention. It did well at the box office and earned Rs 38.97 crore in India in 13 days. According to trade reports, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza starrer Ved earned Rs 1.20 crore in India on Thursday, the 14th day.
Ved collected Rs 20.67 crore in its first week itself and now, after two weeks, the Marathi film has collected a total of Rs 40.17 crore. Reportedly made on a budget of Rs 15 crore, Ved is making profits and claims to have broken several records in terms of Marathi box office collections.

Ved has more than one reason for fans to throng the cinema halls. It not only features the impeccable chemistry between Riteish and Genelia but also features in a special guest appearance Salman Khan, The Bollywood superstar shot for a song in Ved. The film is also Genelia’s first Marathi film.
