Varun Dhawan shares photo from Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari set
Pinkvilla reported that Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf will be playing key roles in Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic comedy.
Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor will be collaborating once again for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari. The announcement was made this year and shooting has also begun. The actor has been sharing updates from the set. Today also Varun shared a photo from the set. He is enjoying tea which is brought by Sanya Malhotra. The actress has also joined the cast.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Varun shared a photo in which some dance sequences can be seen on computed while he enjoys the tea. “Thank u @sanyamalhotra for the chai pati,” read the caption. A source close to the development informed Pinkvilla that Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf will be playing key roles in Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic comedy. “It’s a pure family entertainer with romance in its backdrop, much like the kind of films that Shashank has made over the years. The premise of SSKTK is very close to the kind of films that Dharma is known for, as it celebrates love with colour, music, scale, and a strong star cast. Joining Varun and Janhvi are Sanya and Rohit.”

Earlier, reports were rife that the beloved ‘VARIA’ aka Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt were not returning for Dulhania 3. Varun and Alia were seen in the blockbuster films Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania by Shashank Khaitan. However, it was said that Alia would not be returning to the franchise, and Janhvi Kapoor was to fill her shoes in the third film. But it looks like Karan Johar has come up with a new franchise. The teaser introduces Varun and Janhvi’s character names set to a peppy song titled ‘Ishq Manzoor’.
Varun and Janhvi have a few movies in the making this year. While Varun is busy with the remake of Theri with Atlee, which will be seen in Citadel India with Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Janhvi has films with Sidharth Malhotra and Tiger Shroff in the making. She also has Devara with Jr. NTR in the pipeline. The film marks her Telugu film industry debut. Varun and Janhvi have worked together in Nitesh Tiwari’s Bawaal.
