Varun Dhawan finally reacts to the casting of ‘Citadel’

Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who was in the capital to unveil the new track of his upcoming film ‘Jug Jug Jio’, has given him a cryptic reply on making his digital debut.

“I don’t think I can go into details about it. But there is some work in progress. There is something major. The world is getting smaller in terms of information and technology. There are some genres that do well on streaming. works and some are in cinemas but of course the audience wants to consume the content.”

“They definitely want to be entertained. Whatever the atmosphere is right now… we want to be entertained. We want to laugh and have fun.”

Varun is rumored to be a part of the Citadel universe, helmed by Russo Brothers of Avengers: Endgame fame. Different versions of the series will be set in different parts of the world and one will be set in India. Raj and DK will be handling the India version of the Citadel series and it is speculated that they will bring back Samantha for their new show following the success of The Family Man. It is being said that Varun is also making his OTT debut with this series but confirmation is awaited.

Varun along with his co-star Kiara Advani was in New Delhi to unveil the first track of the upcoming film ‘The Punjab’ which also stars. Anil Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor.

The film, based on the concept of divorce, will hit the theaters on June 24.

‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ is directed by Raj Mehta.
