Varun Dhawan Asks for Inspiration to Look Fit Like Tiger Shroff, Later Says, ‘Kuch Toh Chhor Do Mere Liye’

Varun Dhawan went live on Instagram to say a quick namaste to his fans and also announced that the song Nach Punjaban from his upcoming film Jugjug Jio is going to release on May 28. His friends from the film industry dropped by to chat with the actor, and congratulated him for the trailer of Jagjag Jio. Diana Penty, Avneet Kaur and Tiger Shroff were among the celebs who commented during Varun’s Instagram Live.

Tiger commented ‘Jug-Jug Jio’ according to the title of the film, to which Varun replied thanking him. He continued, “Tiger I think you were somewhere in the hills, I hope you are back. I saw some pictures.” He then went on to say that he is looking for some help and inspiration in terms of fitness as he plans to shoot bare body soon. Tiger listened to him and said, “Sir, do something for me.” He also added “Big fan sir” in the comments.

Varun made his acting debut in 2012 with Student of the Year and the sequel of the film had Tiger in the lead role. Tiger made his acting debut with the 2014 romantic action film Heropanti. Both of them are among the fittest actors Bollywood And often goes shirtless during the shoot.

During the live, Varun also announced that Jugjug Jio’s first song Nach Punjaban will be launched on May 28. He sought suggestions from fans for proper launch location considering the Punjabi style of the song. “We are wondering whether we should launch it in Punjab, or Delhi, or Ludhiana. It is coming on 28th May, but we are trying to decide the suitable venue for the launch of the song.”

Even before the launch, this song has come into controversy. Pakistani singer Abrar-ul-Haq had alleged that the makers used his song ‘Nach Punjaban’ without his consent. The singer claimed this on social media and threatened to take legal action against the filmmaker. He also claimed that this is his sixth song that Dharma Productions has used without his consent.

Later, T-Series released a statement that they have the legal right to remake the song. The statement read, “We have legally acquired the rights to adapt the #NachPunjaban song released on January 1, 2002 on iTunes and YouTube of Lollywood Classics owned by @1Moviebox for #JugJuggJeeyo produced by @DharmaMovies.
