Vanathi condemns DVAC discoveries. Coimbatore News – Times of India

BJP’s women’s wing president and Coimbatore South MLA Vanathi Srinivasan has “strongly condemned” the searches at the residences of AIADMK leader SP Velumani and his associates.
Vanathi, in a statement on Wednesday, said the raid was ordered by Chief Minister MK Stalin out of political vendetta. “Stalin holds a personal grudge against Velumani as the DMK could not win even a single constituency in Coimbatore district. Since the DMK is desperate to win in the Kongu region in the local body elections, the party wanted to demoralize Velumani and intimidate his allies as Velumani is a stumbling block to DMK’s development,” she said. Praising the former minister, Vanathi said that Velumani was instrumental in saving the previous AIADMK government and brought several development projects to Coimbatore.
