Valimai motion poster: Boney Kapoor shares Thala Ajith Kumar’s FIRST look

Ajith Kumar’s Valimai is one of the most awaited films of the year. There has been a lot of discussion about this since the beginning of the film. On Sunday, producer Boney Kapoor treated fans with one of the most exciting announcements ever. He shared the official motion poster of the film. The Valimai poster reads ‘Power is a state of mind’ and Ajith is shown in a stylish avatar.

The motion poster is edgy and has got Thala fans excited. Looking at the look, it seems that Ajith Kumar is playing the role of a police officer in the film.

Ever since Valimai’s debut, Ajith’s fans have been trending the hashtag #ValimaiUpdate asking for updates on the progress.

The motion poster was earlier scheduled to release on May 1 on Ajith’s 50th birthday. However, due to the second wave of the coronavirus pandemic, the release of the poster was pushed. Boney Kapoor had released a statement earlier this year in which he explained the reasons behind the delay in the first look of Valimai.

Boney tweeted, “On the occasion of 50th Birthday #AK50 @BayViewProjOffl #Vinoth #Niravshah @SureshChandraa @thisissysr @dhilipaction @DoneChannel1 of Shri #AjitKumar #Valimai first look & promotions to begin from May 1st.”

Valimai is directed by Theran: Adhigaaram Ondru fame Vinoth. It has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. A cop thriller will reportedly feature three female leads including Yami Gautam, Ileana D’Cruz and Huma Qureshi.

The film was earlier scheduled to release on Diwali 2021, but got delayed due to the pandemic. Since then fans are really disappointed and asking for updates on the release of the film. A video of fans holding placards and seeking Valimai updates during PM Modi’s visit to Chennai went viral on social media. PM Modi was in the city to inaugurate some projects when Thala Ajith’s fans in the crowd asked the PM for updates on the film.
