New Delhi: The week of love i.e. Valentine’s week is going to start from 7th February 2022. Valentines week runs from 7th February to 14th February and every day of this week is very special for lovers. So here we are telling you the history of Valentines as well as its complete schedule.
There is a story behind this special week which is of 270 AD. Actually, at that time there used to be a man named Claudius Gothicus II in the Roman Empire. It is believed that he was strictly against love affairs and marriage. Claudius believed that soldiers forget their goals and lose the war if he finds himself involved in a relationship or marriage.
This was the only reason why he had banned the marriage of soldiers during his reign. But in the same state there was a Catholic saint named ‘Valentine’, who opposed this order. Claudius killed Valentine. It is believed that the day of death of Saint Valentine was 14 February. Since then this day was celebrated as Valentine’s Day.
