Such students will appear in the examination along with the main examinations of class 10th and 12th board conducted by the board in 2022.
The board had given one more chance to the dissatisfied students and fixed the last date for online registration of class 9 and 11 and online filling of 10 and 12 examination forms till November 20. Earlier till November 8, there were a total of 51,27,743 students. Applied for class 10th-12th exam and 58,40,608 registered for class 9 and 11. After the extended last date (November 20), around 58.53 lakh students have filled the form for class 9 and 11 and 51.55 lakh for class 10. 12. It is evident that there has been an increase of around 13,000 applications in class 9 and 11 and around 28,000 have applied to appear in the second chance examination to improve their marks.
This also means that 3,132 high school students and 7,690 inter students who have failed in the marks improvement test held from September 18 to October 6 have again filled the form for the 2022 examination, yet 17,000 such students have registered. Have applied for class 10th. -12th, who were dissatisfied with the result declared on July 31 but could not apply for the mark improvement test.
Earlier, last week, taking a big decision in the interest of the students, the state government has given one more chance to the students who were promoted to high school and intermediate without exams in 2021 during the covid pandemic, board exams. Free until 2022 to join, if they were unhappy with their results.
The certificate-cum-marksheet of 2021 will be provided from 2021 only to those registered students who opt to appear in the 2022 edition of the High School and Intermediate examinations. Many students of High School and Intermediate have already availed their chances in the Marks Improvement Examination held from 18th September to 6th October, 2021.
All promoted students except those who pass the Marks Improvement Test-2021 will be allowed to appear in the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations of 2022 free of cost.
In the 2021 board exam results, 1,44,744 students, including 82,238 high school students and 62,506 intermediate students, do not have marks on their marksheets but were promoted.
These students were contacting their schools as well as District Inspectors of Schools (DIOS), regional offices of UP Board and UP Board Headquarters seeking solutions. This decision of the state and board has brought great relief to the students.
It is to be noted that earlier the last date for filling the forms for advance registration of classes 9 and 11 as well as class 10 and 12 examination-2022 was November 8, after two extensions already granted.
