New Delhi: Actress Urvashi Rautela, who is in news more for her stunning pictures and link-up with cricketer Rishabh Pant than for her choice of films. The actor and former beauty queen was recently spotted at the Mumbai airport and was questioned by the paparazzi about Rishabh’s condition. Urvashi, who was once rumored to be dating him, wished him a speedy recovery calling him an asset to the country.
Paparazzi questions Urvashi about Pant’s latest recovery post. However, the actor looked oblivious to this and asked, ‘Which photo?’ He then added, “He is an asset to our country.” When a cameraperson said that his best wishes were with her, she replied, “Hamari bhi (mine too).”
The actress looked stylish in an all-red outfit for her airport look.
For those unaware, cricketer Rishabh Pant recently met with a fatal accident and sustained serious injuries to his head, back and legs after a car rammed into a divider at Roorkee’s Narsan border, near Hammadpur Jhal in Uttarakhand. Was Pant was traveling from Delhi to Roorkee and miraculously escaped when the car caught fire following a high-speed accident.
Following the news of her accident, Urvashi shared a picture from one of her photoshoots and captioned it, “Praying, love Urvashi Rautela,” along with a heart and a pigeon emoji. Netizens speculated whether she was referring to Pant. A few days later, the actor’s mother also shared a picture of the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital building, where Pant was undergoing treatment, as her Instagram story. Urvashi was massively trolled for her post of adding her picture on the day of Rishabh Pant’s accident and writing prayers. He was also accused of being a stalker by netizens.
Last year, Urvashi and Pant indirectly hit out at each other when Urvashi claimed that a ‘Mr RP’ had waited a long time to meet her at a hotel. Pant then shared a now-deleted cryptic story calling her a ‘liar’ and later replied to her with hashtags like ‘chhotu bhaiya’ and ‘cougar hunter’.
On the work front, Urvashi will be next seen in ‘Ram Pothineni’. She will also co-star with Randeep Hooda in ‘Inspector Avinash’. The actress will also make her Hollywood debut opposite Michele Morrone, and in an upcoming global musical single, she will appear alongside Jason Derulo.
