UPTET 2021: Samajwadi Party supremo Akhilesh Yadav on Sunday pulled up the Uttar Pradesh government over the paper leak of the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 exam. He said that Uttar Pradesh is at the peak of ‘educational corruption’.

Akhilesh pointed out the plight of 20 lakh unemployed candidates. He tweeted, “Cancellation of UPTET 2021 exam paper due to leak is playing with the future of 20 lakh unemployed candidates. Paper leaks, cancellation of exams and results are common in BJP government. UP is at peak of educational corruption. ” ,

Hinting at a possible victory for the SP during the upcoming UP assembly elections 2022, he further wrote, “There will be a revolution for the unemployed ~ ’22 will change!”.

Several other opposition parties pulled up the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh over the UPTET paper leak. Congress leader Anshu Awasthi said, “Paper leak shows that ‘Yogi Sarkar’ is a complete failure. Earlier such papers were also leaked. This is a well-planned attack on the youth of Uttar Pradesh. BJP government is only religious. Works on polarization.”

Samajwadi Party leader Juhi Singh said that it is very shameful that UPTET 2021 exam paper got leaked. “The government should be ashamed. The students had worked very hard for the exam. This government is intent on giving employment to the youth of the state. This government only knows how to taunt the opposition parties with big steps.”

At least 23 people have been arrested in connection with the UPTET 2021 exam paper leak, informed Prashant Kumar, Additional Director General (ADG), Law and Order.

The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021 exam scheduled to be held on Sunday has been canceled due to alleged paper leak.

Basic Education Minister Dr. Satish Dwivedi said on Sunday that the Special Task Force (STF) would investigate the matter.
