Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released the final results for 2019 for the positions of Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) and Assistant Research Officer (ARO). Candidates who appeared for the ASO/ARO exam can find the results on the official website at upsssc.gov.in. The Document Verification process for the ASO/ARO positions was held from April 25 to May 17, 2023, with a total of 2248 candidates passing the round. A total of 896 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment campaign.

UPSSSC ASO, ARO Final Result 2019: Step to Check

Step 1: Go to the official website of UPSSSC i.e., upsssc.gov.in.

Step 2: Find and click on the download link for the ASO/ARO final result 2019.

Step 3: The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 4: Review and download the final result link.

Step 5: Don’t forget to retain a hard copy for future reference.

UPSSSC ASO, ARO Final Result 2019: Vacancy Details

As per the official notice, the Director General of Family Welfare, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, revealed 620 vacancies for the Assistant Research Officer (Statistics) position. Out of these, 601 candidates were selected with distributed among various categories as follows:

– Unreserved: 281

– Scheduled Caste: 60

– Scheduled Tribe: 6

– Other Backward Class (OBC): 192

– Economically Weaker Section: 62

Out of the 21 positions reserved for the Scheduled Tribes category, only 6 candidates from this category were selected against the relevant positions. Additionally, 4 positions in the sub-category for disability, specifically for the hearing impaired, remain vacant due to the unavailability of candidates in this category.

Accordingly, the 4 vacant positions in the hearing-impaired sub-category (Unreserved – 3 and Other Backward Classes – 1) have been carried forward by the commission in compliance with the relevant government orders.

The UPSSSC ASO written exam was divided into two sections. The written exam was based on academic subjects, Techniques of Statistical Analysis General Knowledge of Uttar Pradesh, General Hindi, and National and International affairs for section 1. Meanwhile, Section 2 is comprised of Mathematical Statistics or Commerce/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics.
