UPSC Result 2023: Garima Lohia, who has secured the second rank in the Civil Services Examination 2022, believes that ‘motivation, self-study and analysis’ can make ‘anyone successful’ in the prestigious Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) exam. Garima, a resident of Bihar’s Buxar, cleared the exam in her second attempt, the results of which were declared by UPSC on Tuesday. A Commerce graduate from Delhi University’s Kirori Mal College, Garima cleared UPSC CSE 2022 with Commerce and Accounts as her optional subjects.

Garima Lohia told news agency PTI, “I was aspiring to appear in the UPSC exam since childhood. I was sure that I would clear the UPSC exam, but I never thought that I would get the second rank.”

She said that she started preparing for civil services after completing her graduation and used to balance her preparation and take regular breaks to meet her friends and relatives.

He said, “Motivation, self-study and analysis will make anyone crack the exam. Proper guidance is also necessary.”

UPSC Result 2023: Many advantages of preparing at home, says Garima Lohia

Garima Lohia said that it does not matter whether a candidate prepares for UPSC CSE in a small town or a big city.

She said, “But one thing I must say that preparing for civil services at home has many advantages. I studied for around 8-10 hours daily.”

She said that she would like to work for women empowerment and education after joining the service.

Garima, who lost her father in 2015, studied in Buxar till Class 10, then moved to Varanasi for her higher secondary education.
