UPSC Civil Services Exam 2024 will be held on 26 May

The date of Civil Services Examination preliminary and main examination as well as notification and registration dates for preliminary examination are published in the examination calendar. Candidates aspiring to appear for the exam next year can download the complete schedule on the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in.
As per the timetable, UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024 will be conducted on May 26, 2024 and the notification for the same will be released on February 14. The last date to submit UPSC CSE applications is March 5, 2024. The exam is conducted in three phases- Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Interview. Individuals who clear the preliminary exam can then appear for the main exam, which will be held on September 20, followed by an interview, the dates of which will be revealed after the results of the mains.

Civil Services Exam is one of the most prestigious exams on this annual calendar offered by UPSC to recruit candidates for various posts in the Indian bureaucratic system. The UPSC Annual Exam Calendar for 2024 also includes Indian Forest Service Exam, NDA, CDS, Indian Engineering Services Exam, CISF AC (EXE) LDCE-2023 exam schedules, among many other exams.
The NDA/NA and CDS exam notification that recruits candidates in the Defense Forces will be released by UPSC on December 20, and applications will be accepted till January 9, 2024. NDA/NA/CDS (I) exam will be held on April. 21, 2024, and NDA/ NA/ CDS (II) is scheduled for September 1.
Meanwhile, recently UPSC e-admit card issued For this year’s preliminary exam, which is scheduled on May 28. The admit card must be downloaded by the candidates who have enrolled for the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2023, and they are required to bring it with them on the day of the preliminary examination. The Commission has advised that the e-Admit Card be preserved till the declaration of the final result of the Civil Services Examination, 2023.
