The Uttar Pradesh government has given a big relief from the night curfew. Now from 11 am instead of 10, night curfew will be implemented in the entire state till 6 am. The state government has issued an order for this. The government had earlier taken the decision to end the lockdown completely from the state. Corona cases are still less in the state. In view of this, the government has taken this decision. The government has said that people should not move around unnecessarily. It is very important to strictly follow the covid protocol.

However, the third wave of corona has started knocking in many other states of the country. There has been an increase in corona cases in many states including Kerala, Rajasthan, Maharashtra.

Not a single case of corona in 28 districts of UP
Life is fast returning to normal in the state. Today 28 districts of the state are Aligarh, Amroha, Baghpat, Ballia, Balrampur, Banda, Basti, Bahraich, Bhadohi, Bijnor, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hapur, Hardoi, Hathras, Kaushambi, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Muzaffarnagar. There is not a single patient of Kovid in Pilibhit, Rampur, Shamli, Sitapur, Sonbhadra. These districts are free from Kovid infection today. On an average, more than 2.5 lakh tests are being done every day, while the positivity rate has come down to less than 0.01 and the recovery rate is 98.7 percent.

Aligarh… University to be named after Jat Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh

In 2019 itself, CM Yogi promised to set up a new university in Aligarh in the name of Raja Mahendra Pratap. This was also announced by the CM on September 14, 2019. Actually, the land on which Aligarh Muslim University has been built was donated by Raja Mahendra Singh. For a long time there was a demand to change the name of AMU. Therefore, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath found a way for this. In response to Aligarh Muslim University, the state government decided to set up a state-level university in the name of Mahendra Pratap Singh. And now that promise is about to be fulfilled.

UP number-1 in vaccination
In UP, 33 lakh 42 thousand 360 people have got vaccinated in the last 24 hours. This is the highest number of Kovid vaccinations done in a single day in a state. With this, the Kovid vaccination in the state has exceeded 8 crore 8 lakh. This is the highest number of vaccinations done in a single state.
