Upcoming 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift design revealed in new digital renderings

The country’s second largest automaker after Hyundai is reported to have a facelifted Venue. The mid-cycle update for the compact SUV from the brand is intended to be launched in the country by mid-June this year. The Venue facelift will see many changes over the outgoing model. While spy shots of the test prototypes have revealed some crisp details about the changes the Venue is expected to get in terms of exterior styling, the newly leaked images from HUM 3D give a clearer picture of the Hyundai Venue facelift.

In this new variant, the front end of the compact SUV will be completely revamped. In place of the cascading grille, it will get a large square-off grille, which merges with the slim tri-piece LED DRLs. This time around, the Venue will not get squishy LED DRLs like the outgoing model. Furthermore, the grille is surrounded by black inserts to mask the visual bulk. While the headlamp assembly looks unchanged in these leaked images, the fog lamp housing remains absent.

The front bumper has also been tweaked with a rectangular air dam, accentuated by a chunky silver-finished scuff plate around the chin. Going to the sides, the new design for the alloy wheels stands out as the most noticeable change.

Surrounding the rear fascia, the LED tail lamps are now connected via a slim light bar. Also, they have a squarish theme here. A rectangular black insert appears on the rear bumper, which is similar to the front air dam, and houses the rear fog lamps and reversing lights.

On the inside, the Venue facelift is expected to sport a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen display along with an all-digital instrument cluster. There are also reports of the arrival of the N-Line variant of the compact SUV. However, the carmaker has remained silent about the exercise.
