UP Investors Summit 3.0: PM Modi will lay the foundation stone for 80 thousand crore investment projects today, five lakh employment opportunities will increase

UP has taken a big initiative to fight the Kovid epidemic as well as to create an investment environment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation stone of 1406 projects with an investment of more than 80 thousand crores in the third ground breaking ceremony on Friday. Five lakh new employment opportunities have been claimed to be created in the state on the completion of these projects.

Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath along with top industrialists of the country are likely to attend this program organized at Indira Gandhi Foundation from 11 am. Adani Group Chairman and MD Gautam Adani, Aditya Birla Group Chairman Kumar Mangalam Birla, ITC Limited Chairman and MD Sanjeev Puri, Hiranandani Group MD Niranjan Hiranandani, Jindal Group Chairman and MD Sajjan Jindal, Lulu Group MD Yusuf Ali and Many industrialists including VP Air Liquide’s Matthew Iries are expected to attend.

The preparations for the ceremony are being continuously monitored from the government level. Chief Minister Yogi and Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra themselves are constantly taking updates regarding the preparations. Infrastructure and Industrial Development Commissioner Arvind Kumar is continuously monitoring every aspect related to the ceremony. The government has made elaborate preparations for the memorable hospitality of the guests. The city is beautifully decorated and liaison officers are nominated with every distinguished visitor.

After assuming power, Chief Minister Yogi organized the Investors Summit in 2018. Then there were investment proposals worth Rs 4.68 lakh crore. Innovative initiatives were taken in the form of ground breaking ceremonies to take these investment proposals off the ground. In the first ground breaking ceremony, 81 projects with an investment proposal of Rs 61,792 crore were laid. The second ground breaking ceremony opened the way for 290 projects with an investment proposal of Rs 67,202 crore to hit the ground. The government, which is facing the challenge of the Kovid epidemic, has completed the preparations for the much-awaited third ground breaking ceremony. In this, the foundation stone for 1406 projects with maximum investment of Rs.80,224 thousand crore is being prepared.

From data centers to universities and dairy plants are going to be set up in the state through ground breaking ceremonies. Projects of maximum 805 MSMEs will be established. This is followed by projects in agriculture, pharmaceuticals and medical supplies, education, dairy and animal husbandry.
