The board in its order has asked all affiliated and recognized schools in Noida, Lucknow and other cities and towns of UP to follow the notification.

The Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board has announced the summer vacation for the students. is decided In view of the ongoing heat wave conditions in the state, Summer vacation in Uttar Pradesh will start from May 20. The summer vacation in educational institutions affiliated to the UP Board will continue till June 15.

The board in its order has asked all affiliated and recognized schools of the board in Noida, Lucknow and other cities and towns of UP to follow the notification. Earlier the board had announced summer vacations from May 21 to June 20 but canceled the announcement due to heat wave conditions in the state.

Apart from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra has started summer vacations for students From April 21, 2023. This decision has been taken in view of the heat wave in the financial capital of India. Schools in Maharashtra except Vidarbha will open on June 15, 2023. The decision further states that schools in Vidarbha district will resume for students on June 30.

Jharkhand’s summer vacation will be from May 21 to June 10. The upcoming academic year 2023-24 is going to start from 12th June. The summer vacations in Odisha will begin from May 5 and end on June 18.
