Akhilesh Yadav, who is celebrating Holi in his native village Saifai in Etawah, said in a Hindi tweet, “Wishing everyone a ‘Satrangi Holi’ (Holi of seven colours). Wishing everyone ‘Satyrangi Holi’ (Holi of true colours). Best wishes.”

BSP supremo Mayawati tweeted in Hindi, “Greetings to all the countrymen especially the people of UP on the occasion of Holi – the festival of colors.”
Keshav Prasad Maurya, who was the deputy chief minister in the Yogi Adityanath-1 government, celebrated the festival at his official residence in the state capital and tweeted pictures of the ceremony with senior party functionaries, party workers and journalists.
Dinesh Sharma, another deputy of Adityanath in his first stint as chief minister, tweeted pictures and played Holi with people at his residence in his native Aishbagh area of the state capital.
